About the Design Knowledge Assessment
This simple Design Knowledge Assessment gives us an idea of how you evaluate digital products and how you can articulate your thoughts. This allows us to understand you better as a designer, and gives the us an idea of how we can cater to your needs.
This is a required step for all students and should take only 20 to 30 minutes of your time. Don't worry — your performance in this test won't affect your acceptance into the program.
Instructions
Step 1: Choose a widely used website to evaluate.
Pick only one website from the three options:
• BDO (https://www.bdo.com.ph/)
• SKY (https://www.mysky.com.ph/)
• DOH (https://doh.gov.ph/)
Step 2: Based on your chosen website, answer the two simple questions below. Your answers should not exceed a maximum of 500 words.
• What are your initial impressions of your chosen website? What makes you say so?
• Provide concrete and specific recommendations on how your chosen website can be improved.

You have until October 18, 2021 to submit your answers.
Quick Tips
1. Be clear in how you articulate your thoughts.
2. Try not to focus on just the visuals. Think about the overall experience.
3. There are no "right" answers to these questions. Your top-of-mind impressions and ideas are all that's required in your answers (no need to overthink!)
4. We don't require for you to interview users, but a quick 10-minute "Guerilla Test" with a family member might help in your website evaluation process.
